▶ AI operating structure redesigned on top of experience at Lotte Home Shopping and Jeju Bank and GS Grade 1 quality
▶ Ontology built from data relationships improves answer quality and reliability
▶ Managed as standard code, AI agents can be reused and extended without model or platform lock-in
Plateer (KOSDAQ: 367000, CEO Lee Sang-hoon) announced on August 6 a major upgrade of its agentic AI platform XGEN. Based on know-how from retail and finance projects, the upgrade goes beyond new features to redesign how AI is operated.
In real enterprises, the same term can mean different things across teams and tasks, and related information is spread across multiple systems. Search based only on keywords or vector similarity has limits in providing accurate answers that reflect the relationships and context of work.
To address this, Plateer added an ontology-based knowledge graph to vector-search RAG to create hybrid RAG. By reflecting the relationships and context between documents, tasks, and systems, XGEN provides more accurate answers to complex business questions. Plateer also applied harness engineering to verify and manage how AI agents run and respond, reducing variation in generative AI responses and improving accuracy and consistency.
For development productivity, XGEN adds FloUI, which automatically generates user interfaces from natural-language input, and automatic API integration with external systems, simplifying agent development and system integration.
For scalability, AI agents can now be accumulated as a company's digital assets. Agents and workflows are managed as standard code, so they can be reused across environments without being tied to a specific platform or AI model. When new AI technology appears, companies can connect and extend existing assets instead of rebuilding them each time.
Operations have also been strengthened. XGEN supports both on-premise and cloud deployment, and includes security features required for enterprise operations, such as role-based access control (RBAC) and personally identifiable information (PII) masking.
Since its launch in September last year, XGEN has been expanding across industries. Plateer built an MD AI agent for product trend analysis and content generation at Lotte Home Shopping, and financial AI agents for RAG-based work support and fraud detection at Jeju Bank, and also carried out an AX project for iM Capital. In July this year, XGEN received GS Certification Grade 1, the highest grade of TTA's software quality certification, meeting the quality level required in the public sector.
Jin Byeong-kwon, Head of the ECS AX Division at Plateer, said, “Companies struggle to get results from AI not because adoption fails, but because AI does not keep improving in operation. This upgrade combines experience from real customer projects with the latest AI technology so that companies can use AI as a long-term asset.”
