PLATEER’s XGEN Achieves GS Certification Grade 1, Targeting Public-Sector AX

Plateer (CEO Lee Sang-hoon) announced on July 8 that its agentic AI platform XGEN has received GS (Good Software) Certification Grade 1, the highest grade of software quality certification from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) of Korea.

GS certification is a national certification program in Korea that evaluates software quality, including functionality, reliability, and security, based on international standards (ISO/IEC). With Grade 1, Plateer has officially demonstrated that XGEN meets the strict stability and quality standards required by public institutions and enterprises.

Products with GS Grade 1 are eligible for priority purchasing by government and public institutions and for private contracts under related laws. As the certification serves as a trusted standard for public-sector adoption of generative AI, it is expected to help Plateer enter the public AX (AI Transformation) market, including Korea's Digital Platform Government (DPG) initiative.

XGEN is an agentic AI platform that lets organizations manage AI agents tailored to their environment from design to operation. Unlike Q&A-focused solutions, it provides ‘task-executing AI agents’ that understand administrative guidelines and business context, plan on their own, and complete real work.

Starting with optimizing marketing and MD processes at Lotte Home Shopping, XGEN has been selected for AI platform projects at Jeju Bank, which has strict security governance, and most recently iM Capital. These references in regulated finance and retail are expected to provide a strong foundation for public-sector AI that demands high reliability and uninterrupted stability.

XGEN combines similarity-based Vector RAG with relationship-based Graph RAG in a hybrid search approach that improves accuracy and reduces hallucinations. It structures relationships between data as an ontology for context-based reasoning, and supports a no-code environment where staff can quickly design their own agents using a drag-and-drop workflow canvas and templates.

For security, it offers on-premise and private AI options that keep internal data in-house, and a hybrid AI structure that can run separately from or alongside government-designated public clouds. Based on the MCP (Model Context Protocol) standard, it connects with internal administrative and core systems and supports agent-to-agent (A2A) collaboration. LLMOps and MLOps are integrated in a single platform for real-time performance monitoring, feedback-based retraining, and security control.
