PLATEER (CEO Lee Sang-hoon), a specialized AI and DX solutions provider, announced on the 12th that it successfully completed the construction of Lotte Home Shopping's enterprise-grade agentic AI service within one month based on its agentic AI platform ‘XGEN’ and officially launched the service on December 31st last year.

 

This contract is expected to be a significant turning point for PLATEER, positioning it as an AI innovation partner supporting business transformation across enterprises, beyond the e-commerce solutions domain it has led for over 20 years. Furthermore, this contract holds great significance as it officially recognizes the technological prowess and market competitiveness of PLATEER's enterprise-grade agentic AI platform, following its superior evaluation compared to global and domestic competitors during the customer's proof-of-concept (POC) process.

 

XGEN is an all-in-one platform that supports the entire process of designing, building, operating, and managing the agentic AI services enterprises require. Its key feature is scalability, enabling broad application not only in commerce but across an enterprise's entire value chain.

 

Notably, it supports a hybrid AI environment that can utilize 22 leading public LLMs, such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Claude, alongside various open-source models like DeepSight, Qwon, and Llama. This enables companies to freely configure the optimal model combination tailored to their objectives and task characteristics. It also simplifies the setup of essential technical elements for AI agent development, such as model-specific environment configuration, tool calls, MCP, and A2A integration. Consequently, it significantly reduces the time and cost required for enterprise customers to build AI agents.

 

The core module of XGEN is the ‘Visual Canvas Editor’. This editor provides a workflow environment enabling non-developers or non-AI engineers—business users—to create AI agents using a no-code approach. Even at the departmental or individual level, users can directly develop AI agents and easily integrate and utilize various corporate resources such as internal documents, databases (DB), and existing system APIs. Furthermore, multiple AI agents can be interconnected to automate diverse business processes and enhance inter-departmental collaboration efficiency.
