PLATEER Successfully Concludes Japan's Largest IT Exhibition...Demonstrates Global Technological Competitiveness with AI-Powered Personalized Marketing Solution 'groobee'

AI and digital transformation (DX) solution specialist PLATEER (CEO: Sanghoon Lee) announced that its AI CX (Customer eXperience) business unit successfully concluded its participation in ‘Japan IT Week Autumn 2025’, held at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan from the 22nd to the 24th.

 

PLATEER was selected for this year's ‘Global SaaS MarketPlace(GSMP)’, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, and participated in this event as part of that program.

 

GSMP is a program supporting domestic SaaS companies' overseas expansion by assisting with registration on global CSP marketplaces and local promotion and sales channel development. PLATEER was selected for this program based on high evaluations of its advanced AI-based SaaS architecture, data-centric business competitiveness, and global market scalability. Participation in this exhibition was pursued as part of accelerating overseas market entry through GSMP support.

 

Japan IT Week is Japan's largest comprehensive IT exhibition, where leading global companies showcase the latest IT trends and innovation cases in AI, IoT, cloud, big data, and more. PLATEER introduced its AI personalized marketing solution ‘groobee’, generative AI search solution ‘genser’, and AI chatbot consultation/marketing solution ‘gelatto’, tailored to the Japanese market and local corporate needs.

 

‘groobee’ is a solution that supports marketing automation and customer experience enhancement by precisely analyzing customer behavior through real-time big data analysis and AI engines based on machine learning and deep learning. ‘genser’ and ‘gelatto’ provide differentiated user experiences by organically connecting the customer journey from search to consultation and recommendations, based on generative AI technology. PLATEER's integrated CX portfolio, centered around these three solutions, garnered significant interest from key local figures and IT experts.

 

At this event, representatives from leading Japanese brands and partner companies visited the booth, showing strong positive responses. Key brand managers from e-commerce, furniture, and video/content sectors expressed deep interest, personally experiencing the natural language search capabilities and the ability to explain the reasoning behind search results offered by the generative search solution ‘genser’. Some companies discussed their service-related search challenges and improvement plans on-site, continuing concrete collaboration discussions about the potential for business innovation through ‘genser’. This led to the achievement of further accelerating business advancement within the Japanese market.

 

PLATEER established its Japanese subsidiary ‘PLATEER JAPAN’ earlier this year, signaling its full-scale entry into the Japanese market. It has already solidified its market entry foundation by signing partnership agreements with Japanese IT specialists like ‘primeNumber’.

 

Meanwhile, Japan's marketing technology market is estimated to reach approximately 900 billion yen (about 8 trillion won) in 2024, with the personalized marketing and AI-based marketing solutions market showing annual growth of about 8-10%. Notably, Japan's e-commerce market also steadily expanded to about 23 trillion yen (about 217 trillion won) last year, and demand for AI personalized marketing solutions is expected to grow alongside it.
