PLATEER Wins iM Capital AI Platform Project with XGEN, Expanding AX in Finance

Plateer (CEO Lee Sang-hoon) announced on July 3 that it has won iM Capital's AI platform project and will supply its agentic AI platform XGEN.

The project follows the Jeju Bank GenAI platform project won in March. With XGEN recognized again in the conservative IT environment of the financial sector, Plateer is quickly expanding its presence in the enterprise AI market.

Although network separation rules in Korea's financial sector are being relaxed, core financial work involving sensitive customer data still cannot freely adopt external SaaS AI. Plateer is applying ‘on-premise AI governance’ to this project to block the data leakage risks of external SaaS AI and comply with strict electronic financial supervision regulations.

XGEN meets complex compliance and internal control standards. Built on an on-premise architecture optimized for closed infrastructure, it provides fine-grained role-based access control (RBAC). It also supports guardrails that de-identify personal information, an emergency stop (kill switch), and audit logs that record all system access and AI responses.

XGEN also provides hybrid LLM integration across private and public environments, a RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) engine, and a multi-LLM agent design environment. With these, iM Capital can safely create and manage reliable AI agents for real work, such as automating contact center consultations and credit processes.

Plateer will also place Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), AI specialists who work on site with the customer. FDEs will support the whole process, from identifying business needs to designing and implementing AI agents and helping iM Capital build these capabilities in-house.
