PLATEER Signs Official Partnership with Chainguard to Expand Open Source Supply Chain Security in Korea

SEOUL, South Korea – January 8, 2026 – PLATEER, a leading provider of AI and Digital Transformation (DX) solutions, announced that it has signed an official partnership with Chainguard, a global software supply chain security company. Through this partnership, PLATEER will begin rolling out Chainguard’s security solutions across the Korean market.

As cloud-native environments and the use of open source technologies continue to expand, software supply chain security threats have emerged as a key concern for enterprises. Organizations are increasingly prioritizing the prevention of vulnerabilities within open source–based development environments and the establishment of secure, reliable DevSecOps frameworks.

Chainguard addresses common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs) that frequently occur during software development, enabling developers to focus on core business development without the burden of managing security patches or dependencies.

In particular, Chainguard provides more than 1,700 CVE bug-free Docker images, effectively removing known vulnerabilities and protecting against malware and supply chain attacks. This approach significantly reduces the resource burden associated with vulnerability management and helps teams maintain compliance with security standards while improving operational efficiency.

Through this partnership, PLATEER will not only supply Chainguard’s solutions but also provide technical support, training, and consulting services, systematically supporting Korean enterprises in enhancing their open source supply chain security posture.

As open source and cloud-native environments become the norm, software supply chain security is no longer optional—it’s essential,” said Jae-woong Jang, Head of PLATEER’s IDT (IT Digital Transformation) Division. “Through our partnership with Chainguard, we aim to help Korean enterprises build more secure and efficient DevSecOps environments.”

Meanwhile, PLATEER provides comprehensive digital transformation services, including consulting, IT infrastructure implementation, training, and coaching. As a key Korean partner of Atlassian, Perforce, Tricentis, and GitLab, PLATEER has successfully led digital transformation projects for major enterprises such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, MUSINSA, Naver, and Hyundai Mobis—solidifying its leadership in digital transformation solutions and services in Korea.
