Key features include workflow management, DevOps integration, approval process management, and unified dashboards

Version 2.0 to be released within the year, incorporating AI-driven features and standardized service workflows – with ongoing enhancements planned beyond

PLATEER announced the official launch of its proprietary ITSM (IT Service Management) solution, Matilda, which embodies the company’s extensive experience in digital transformation projects and in-house development capabilities.

ITSM refers to the processes and strategies that enable companies to efficiently operate and improve IT services. As digital transformation has emerged as a key factor in enterprise competitiveness, the importance of ITSM is also rapidly growing.

Matilda is designed based on the latest ITSM framework, ITIL4, and incorporates PLATEER’s proven project execution experience to standardize workflows optimized for the operational practices of Korean enterprises. The solution is built on Atlassian’s Jira Service Management (JSM), a leading ITSM platform, allowing for quick implementation by existing Jira users and providing a familiar user interface for ease of use.

The solution offers four core features: workflow management, DevOps integration, approval management, and a unified dashboard. It is designed to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs throughout the entire process, from initial consulting to day-to-day operations.

The workflow management function allows users to apply standard ITSM processes, with options to customize request types, workflows, screens, and fields. The DevOps management feature supports integration with Bitbucket projects and repositories, as well as GitLab groups and projects. The approval management feature enables the addition and automation of approval steps, including the designation and mapping of approval lines for each issue. Through the unified dashboard, users can monitor JSM request statuses, workflow configurations, DevOps toolchain audit logs, and approval progress at a glance.

According to Sung-Hyun Ryu, Head of DT Technology at PLATEER’s IDT division, Matilda ensures operational stability through proven workflows, and it enables up to 50% cost reduction and over 200% faster execution in ITSM implementation.

The current release is version 1.0, and PLATEER plans to introduce version 2.0 within the year with further enhanced ITSM capabilities. Future updates will include expanded standard workflows, a more advanced dashboard, security plugins, and AI-powered IT service features.

Jae-Woong Jang, Head of the IDT division at PLATEER, stated that Matilda is the result of PLATEER’s technological expertise and know-how accumulated through numerous ITSM projects for clients such as GS Retail and KOSCOM. He added that the solution is expected to meet the growing demand for advanced ITSM systems in line with the accelerating digital transformation of Korean enterprises.

PLATEER is the first and largest Platinum Partner of Atlassian in Korea and has built DevOps and collaboration platforms for a wide range of clients. The company has solidified its leadership in the ITSM space through projects with clients such as Samsung SDS, Lotte Duty Free, Samsung Welstory, and GS Retail.
